• VariSpread | AXEO

  Flexible, remote-controlled adjustment of the spreading range

  

  An additional, electrically remote-controlled VariSpread slider in the metering slide opening changes the feed range of the spreading material onto the spreading disc in three positions. This allows the working width to be elegantly and predictably varied to the right in the direction of travel. At the same time, the VariSpread slider adjusts the spread rate to match the set working width. Thanks to the intelligent, automatic interaction with the spreading width limiter, 5 part-width sections are achieved on the right-hand side with high precision.

  The VariSpread benefits:

  The working width and spread rate can be adjusted remotely from the QUANTRON-K2 control terminal at the touch of a button. The sections are set automatically and precisely in five stages in the right-hand direction of travel. The spreading precision on the opposite side is not affected. VariSpread increases spreading efficiency in wedge-shaped areas and narrow sections by 25 % or more compared to conventional spreading width limiters. Environmental pollution caused by overdosing on the reduced side is avoided from the outset. VariSpread increases economic efficiency and protects the environment.

• E-Click | AXEO

  Greater ease of use in winter service

  

  The electric slide valve variant C with the convenient E-Click terminal for the entire AXEO winter service spreader series opens up new areas of application, particularly for municipal vehicles with few or no hydraulic connections.

  The special feature of E-Click: Both the electric metering slide and the optional electric spreading width limiter can be conveniently operated via a toggle switch from an operating terminal in the cab. The optimised ergonomics make work easier in tough winter service operations. A control diode indicates the current slider position. This minimises operating errors.

  The E-Click control terminal is elegantly connected to the AXEO winter service spreader by cable. There is no need to connect hydraulic hoses at all. High-quality, dust and splash-proof actuators ensure a high level of operating comfort, functional reliability and a long service life for the investment.

  Online GPS documentation for winter service

  

  GPS.at – known as an expert in GPS tracking – offers a GPS telematics box that determines the vehicle's current position via GPS, records data such as spreading quantity and working width from the winter service spreader’s control system, and transmits it via a GSM module to the internet-based GPS Fleet Software. This allows municipalities and service providers to fulfill their documentation obligations and accurately prove when, where, and how much de-icing material has been spread. A combination with a working position sensor for the snowplow is also possible.

  The Fleet Box is installed in the tractor and connected via cable to the QUANTRON-K2 spreader control system for AXEO or QUANTRON-A from UKS. The spreader control system transmits the data:

  • Spreading On/Off
  • Spreading quantity g/m²
  • Spreading width m

  to the Fleet Box, which combines this data with GPS position and time, transmits it to the Fleet Software, and displays it in real-time on the internet or in the app. This allows users to see online where the spreading vehicles are and what they are doing, as well as to retrospectively document exactly when and how spreading was performed.

• HydroControl

  Intelligent drive variant - HydroControl

  

  The AXEO-Q HydroControl with hydraulic spreading disc and agitator drive enables remote adjustment of the working width through the optimum interplay of spreading disc speed and spreading width limitation. The special feature: When the tractor stops or starts, the agitator and spreading disc switch off or on automatically. This protects the valuable spreading material and increases spreading precision. This significantly increases the efficiency and profitability of spreading material use. At the same time, the driver's workload is reduced and the environment is protected.
  
  All spreader functions are elegantly and easily set directly via the control terminal. Thanks to the harmonious combination of the precise, speed-dependent QUANTRON-K2 spreading material metering system and the intelligent HydroControl drive technology, AXEO opens up new dimensions in spreading material efficiency, economy and operating comfort.

  With the optional remote-controlled spreading width limiter, the working width can be varied on both sides separately or together in the range from 0.8 to 8 m at the touch of a button.

  AXEO brings performance to the road

  The patented AXEO CDA spreading technology consists of a spreading disc with eight spreading vanes (speed of 230 rpm) and a large and intelligently shaped metering slide opening located in the rotating hopper base. This sophisticated system achieves an even lateral and longitudinal distribution with steeply sloping spreading edges, a so-called trapezoidal spreading pattern, even at high working speeds.

  Unique : Both the spreading symmetry and the spread rate are set quickly and easily on the central CDA control terminal in an elegant, convenient and safe way.
