Online GPS documentation for winter

RAUCH and the Austrian GPS tracking provider GPS.at announce their partnership

GPS.at – known as an expert for GPS tracking – is offering a GPS telematics box which detects the current position of the vehicle via GPS. The data about spreading quantity and working width is displayed by the winter spreader’s spreading computer and is sent to the internet-based GPS Fleet Software via a GSM module. This way, municipalities and service providers can fulfil their obligation to provide documentation and can precisely prove what quantity of spreading material they spread in a certain place and when. A combination with a working position sensor for snowploughs is also available.

Klemens Häusler, Managing Director of GPS.at, adds: “In collaboration with RAUCH, we aim to provide suitable winter service software for the documentation of spreading for the most modern spreading devices.”

Last year, a number of devices in combination with the RAUCH AXEO winter spreader were field-tested and received a very positive response. Alongside the good functioning, the value for money of these devices is particularly unbeatable. Therefore, RAUCH and GPS.at Management Software, the Austrian online documentation specialists, decided to start a partnership.
