After the completion of the new factory at Baden-Airpark in September 2009, the first delve of spade for the next expansion step with an investment volume of 4.0 million Euros has now been made.

In summer 2015 already, the new state-of-the-art RAUCH Service and Training Centre with a floor space of 3,000 square meters on two levels at Baden-Airpark will open its doors. This means that the Technical Training department with 35 trainees for the jobs:

  • Toolmaker
  • Industrial mechanic for machinery and plant engineering or thermal joining technology
  • Process mechanic for coating technology
  • Warehouse logistics expert
  • Bachelor of Engineering

will receive an optimum working environment. In addition, RAUCH employees from Technical Customer Support, the technical trainers and the Toolmaking department will get a new home.

Modern workshops, machine showrooms, offices and common rooms, laboratories for pneumatic, hydraulic and electronic machine control systems, CNC metalworking machines, computer rooms with CAD simulation and E-learning programs as well as state-of-the-art training rooms with the latest digital presentation technologies are open to trainees and international RAUCH distribution partners from Sales and Customer Service.

Qualified and trained employees and distributors as well as perfect after sales processes are the essential basis for commercial success at home and abroad.

In building technology, RAUCH focus on environmentally friendly, sustainable technologies. The entire newly constructed building is equipped with underfloor heating which is supplied by the waste heat of the in-house biogas cogeneration unit by the farmer Graf from Schwarzach in a CO2 neutral way. For power generation, RAUCH relies on a new photovoltaic system with a peak performance of 440 kWp on the 15,000 sqm roof of the factory building.
